I received an e-mail today from Joey in my Producers Group asking about an upgrade to Adobe Audition 3.
“‘m considering upgrading from Audition 1.5 to Audition 3. Amazon lists the program for $335.99. However, the upgrade to 3 lists for $99.49. Is there any difference between upgrading and a the full install? Is the main difference just the price?”
Joey, There is a significant improvement from Audition 1.5 to Audition 3. Many more tools, much more stability, I love using this product.
Do you have the original install disc for Audition 1.5? If you do, go with the upgrade… There is no difference in software or the way it functions. You just won’t be able to install it if you don’t have the original disc to verify you have purchased the earlier version.
