There are several benefits to a “guild”. One of the first benefits of SaVOa is a step into developing a qualification process for .

SaVOa is not attempting to create “rules”, as it were; rather they are in the process of creating a way to level the playing field for talent and producers. Determining if a talent can provide the services promised is integral to a producers business.

The question I would ask is: Why would a qualified and experienced talent NOT want to join the “guild”?

The idea of someone with a Barbie microphone, hanging out a shingle (a Voice 123 free web listing), and a computer being considered “” appalls me. You may have a different viewpoint and I would enjoy hearing your thoughts.

A 40 year veteran, member of , and fairly experienced .
